Stephen and Trevor
Stephen Mascilo and Trevor Pinker discovered Provincetown in 1982. It was love at first sight! Some twelve years later they decided to fulfill their dreams. They gave up their British professional careers, Stephen as Regional Director for Human Resources for Inter-Continental Hotels in Europe and Trevor as a family medical doctor, to begin a new life as owners of The Beaconlight Guesthouse on Winthrop St.
In 1998 they had the opportunity to acquire one of the architecturally historic houses in Provincetown and their second guesthouse, The Oxford, was born. It is now recognized, both nationally and internationally, as one of the finest guesthouses in town.
Over the next 6 years they both became American citizens and on May 27, 2004 Stephen and Trevor legally married in the state of Massachusetts in a celebration attended by their families and close friends.
Early in 2005 they decided it was time to do new things in their lives and to focus their energies on the Oxford. In March, they sold the Beaconlight to new owners.
With the other members of their family, Jessye and Potter, their two golden retrievers, they extend the warmest invitation to all their old and new friends to visit Provincetown and share the magic, elegance and charm of the Oxford.
They started with a dream and then made it happen.
